About Armando Aguilar
I was born and raised in Mexico until the 7th grade, when my family and I moved to the United States. Arriving here without knowing English, I faced numerous challenges but quickly adapted, using my passion for storytelling to carve out a path in media. Today, I’m proud to be the lead producer for Aztec Men’s Baksetball and MESA Foundation at San Diego State University. Additionally, as a Video Intern with SDSU Media Relations, I contribute to content across various sports. One of my career highlights has been producing a video feature for Sports Illustrated. With a 4.0 GPA as a Film major and experience in videography, photography, and creative direction, I’m passionate about pushing creative boundaries in sports media and beyond.
