About Armando Leon
I am a Civil Engineering student and Regents\' and Chancellor\'s scholar at the University of California, Berkeley. Currently a junior transfer who is passionate about project management, risk analysis and making a difference in my community. I graduated from MiraCosta College where I work as a mathematics tutor and was a recipient of the Medal of Academic Merit Award. In Civil Engineering I see a purposeful and versatile vocation. What I love most is the great opportunities for problem solving and creativity, revolving around multifaceted projects with unique challenges and the ability to adapt to the growing demands of technological advancements. I hope to add upon my current knowledge of engineering-related coursework and use these skills from my education to give back to my community.
