DUTIES• Hire/train/coach/manage 30 employees. Schedule shifts to ensure the franchise is properly staffed at all times.• Supervise all aspects of franchise’s daily operations to ensure profitable growth.• Maintain strict compliance with system operating standards & franchisor business model.• Build/maintain a strong, loyal customer base by providing approved products & services with consistently superior customer service.• Advertise/promote the franchise’s approved products & services according to franchisor guidelines.• Maintain frequent, effective communications with franchisor; report on business metrics & develop strategies to meet or exceed franchisor goals.ACCOMPLISHMENTS• BUSINESS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT/CHANGE MANAGEMENT: Assumed control from prior owner when this operation was underperforming. Through analysis & extensive interface with customers, identified what was needed to deliver a great customer experience, then designed/implemented franchisor-approved solutions to rebuild & expand the customer base. • Revenue Growth: Consistently overachieves franchisor revenue target for this operation by 44%.• Net Profit: Increased franchise net profit by over 2X from 12% to a peak of 25%. • Cost Reduction: By improving quality of staff and optimizing shift schedules, reduced payroll from 25% down to 18% of total operating costs. Reduced food costs by 10% by aggressively attacking causes of food spoilage and shrinkage.• Team Building: Created a new team culture with a “can-do” attitude: coached inherited team and provided opportunities to correct performance deficiencies. Stabilized the team by recruiting and retaining qualified replacements as needed. • Logistics Management/Transportation: Grew revenue by establishing and managing partnerships with major third-party delivery services (e.g. Ubereats, GrubHub, Doordash, Postmates, Amazon Restaurant).• Succession Planning: Successfully groomed on-site manager to assume more franchise responsibility.
