Currently Seeking new and exciting opportunities as a full time Helicopter Pilot. 2023 I had an amazing opportunity to Co-Pilot the AS332 super puma L1 with Coldstream Helicopters. The summer was packed with Utility work and a whole lot of Firefighting operations. A truly amazing experience standing on the shoulders of giants. Appreciate my time there and all that I learned. Over the summer of 2019 I was given a great opportunity for employment at Phoenix Heli-flight. Phoenix operates a Medevac Service out of Fort McMurray Alberta known as HERO1. The mostly local government, oil sands and public charity funded program is a fantastic way for North Eastern Alberta communities to receive life saving Helicopter medevac service. I was tasked over the summer to work with a very professional group of pilots as a First Officer also known as a Pilot Monitor. This was temporary employment filling a gap in staffing for Hero1 but was certainly an amazing experience. Formerly i was Employed at Great Slave Helicopters as the Ground Support Coordinator/ pilot. This role was a new one at this company but really it was a refinement and zenith as my many roles in ground support. I have added to my skills in this arena, and continue to learn about this ever-changing environment. With this essential knowledge and experience i hope to get my flying further from the ground and get some hours in my log book in the near future. My next role will have to have flying in the forefront and priority moving forward. Before GSH i was employed at Mustang Helicopters; another very professional Helicopter company. Worked very hard in this position as Junior pilot/ Ground crew, having recently been endorsed on the Eurocopter 30/ Astar 350 B2. Supporting fellow pilots on the ground crew was still his primary job. He learned many skills as ground crew with which he found useful in the field. Helicopter operations demand a variety of skill sets for efficient work. Arlis is Willing to put in the time and prove his great work ethic and professional skills at any level. Arlis graduated in the spring of 2013 from Chinook Helicopters with Full turbine endorsement in the Bell 206B Jetranger II. He has recently had the opportunity to add some hours to his log book and is eager to continue training. Maturity, strict attention to safety, hard work ethic and an intelligence for problem solving are amongst his attributes. Currently over 600 hours total flight time on turbine helicopters, including AS332 Super Puma, EC135t2e, AS 350B2 and Bell 206B.
