ABOUT ARLENE COHEN MILLER
I’ve sat in your seat.I’ve led a law firm, made the hard decisions, carried the responsibility for people, clients, and outcomes—and ultimately built and sold two firms. So I understand what it feels like when things look successful on the outside…but internally, something feels off.People are tired.Communication gets strained.Good attorneys start to disengage—quietly, and then all at once.In my experience, it’s rarely about capability. It’s about how people are relating to each other—how they communicate, how they handle pressure, and how they navigate difficult conversations that don’t have easy answers. That’s the work I do now.I partner with mid-sized and large law firms to strengthen communication, negotiation, and leadership in a way that is practical, human, and sustainable. We don’t just talk about skills—we create space to actually practice them. That usually begins with a live, CLE-eligible workshop, and continues with small-group work and individual support for attorneys who want to go deeper.Because real change doesn’t come from a single training. It comes from consistent attention to how people show up and work together. My background includes serving as a law firm owner, earning an AV Preeminent® rating as an attorney, receiving the President’s Cup from the Commercial Law League of America, and becoming a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation. If you’re thinking about the long-term health of your firm—your people, your culture, and how leadership is experienced day to day—I’m always open to a conversation.
