ABOUT ARLEEN EDWARD
Arleen Edward joined the Tulalip Resort Casino as Director of Catering and Conference Services in 2008, bringing with her an extensive experience of running large multi-concept restaurants, catering and banquet operations and food and beverage management. Arleen oversees daily operations for the resort’s sq. ft. event space and offsite catering. Prior to holding her current position at the Resort, Arleen was Senior Event Director for over 3 years at the prestigious Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, MI. Because of Arleen’s attention to detail and visionary thinking, she has held numerous appointments across 8 countries during her over 30 year career, such as Hotel Resident Manager, Director of Food and Beverage, Director of Catering and Convention Services, Director of Sales and Marketing, Regional General Manager for a restaurant chain, Professor of Hotel Sales and Marketing, Operations Consultant for the Asian Village in Detroit, MI and the expansion of 3 U.S. based casual dining concepts in Asia. Born in Manila, she spent her childhood and teen years growing up in 5 countries while traveling extensively — making hotels a second home. This led her to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. Arleen returned to Manila to attend St. Scholastica’s College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Arleen, a firm believer in the importance of giving back to the community, has volunteered for the Northwest Center, Boys and Girls Club and supports several animal rescue charities including the Animal Rescue Foundation of Everett. Currently residing in the city of Marysville with her husband Levelle, Arleen loves scuba diving, painting and bowling, and exploring different cultures through travel.
