In a zero-to-one role, was given the mandate to define the vision, product strategy, investment areas, and roadmap for AI features in OneDrive.Launched several AI features leveraging RAG to enhance content understanding & personalization- Document Summarization – AI-generated summaries of Office files- Custom GPTs using OneDrive content – Personalized GPTs using user files as knowledge source- Contextual Q&A – AI-driven answers based on content in OneDrive- File transformation – Converting Word files into PowerPoint presentations- Catch-up Digest – AI-curated summaries of recent file updates across OneDrive.Owned AI UX strategy to drive adoption, moving beyond generic chat interfaces to one-click AI actions on files, reducing user friction and making AI interactions seamless. This research-backed approach significantly improved adoption and was later implemented by other Microsoft teams.Defined success metrics for AI response quality, engagement, and adoption, creating a framework that became the standard for evaluating AI product-market fit for all new AI features in my organization.
