About Arjun Some
Arjun is currently part of the Global Sourcing & Procurement organization within Eastman Chemical Company. He is the Sourcing Manager for the Tire Additives business and is in charge of buying raw materials for Eastman\'s Tire Additives plants spread across 4 continents. This is Arjun\'s 3rd assignment as part of the company\'s Commercial Leadership Program. Immediately prior to this, Arjun spent 2.5 years in Hyderabad office setting up and managing a team of 10 research analysts. Before that, his first rotation was as a Strategic Pricing Representative within the Corporate Pricing team at Kingsport. Arjun has an MBA degree from University of North Carolina, Kenan-Flagler Business School.Prior to business school, Arjun worked for nearly six years at Ernst & Young LLP in Climate Change & Sustainability Services. During this period, he had been involved in a wide range of client engagements including corporate sustainability strategy, sustainability reporting, renewable energy portfolio development strategy, corporate low carbon transformation, carbon financing, Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) advisory, energy strategy, etc. His responsibilities included execution of engagement, leading teams on engagements, assisting in business development activities and developing new solutions.
