Perform ideation, modelling, analysis and design of advanced custom linear actuators. Responsibilities include- Conceptualize, architecture, analysis, numerical modelling, design and multi-parameter optimization of actuators (Electro-magnetic force components, heat management components, power and cooling interfaces, etc)- Develop and utilize custom genetic algorithms for multi-parametric actuator design optimizations- 2D and 3D electro-magnetic design and modelling by using FEA tools such as ANSYS, Opera, FEMM, etc- Work with designers from supporting engineering disciplines such as MDEV and EDEV to converge on an overall design solution.
