Since 2008, PMI has invested more than USD 10.5 billion to develop, scientifically substantiate and commercialize innovative smoke-free products for adults who would otherwise continue to smoke, with the goal of completely ending the sale of cigarettes.My role involves setting up a new COE for developing & driving implementation of Supply chain long term strategy, Digital transformation and Risk & Resilience for the global supply chain of PMI ~ €35 bn business. There has been great progress in the last couple of years on building a leading edge supply chain “fit for future” digital operating model using data foundations, new planning platform implementation for our €10 Bn+ global electronics business, integrated logistics visibility digital enablers with end to end orchestration leveraging decision intelligence & prescriptive analytics.We have built the Supply Chain Risk & Resilience program from concept to alignment, piloted & iterated in one VUCA region of 80+ countries for refinement and then rolling it out across the rest of global supply chain in 2025. We are also building a global supply chain resilience community of people through trainings & capability development for disruption readiness.
