Data is a critical component to almost every initiative across the PwC network. As PwC\'s business is increasingly cross-border and because the brand is global, it is essential to leverage global technologies and establish common processes for measuring and evaluating the quality of the data for more effective risk, compliance and operational decisioning. When the PwC member firms (60+) operate in a similar manner, and utilise similar rules, processes and technologies, change can be created easily and quickly, and duplicated across the PwC network. Arjun is responsible for ensuring a standardised set of mechanisms exist to measure data quality and drive incremental improvements in collaboration with the data owners (e.g. member firms, global systems owners) across the Network. In addition, he is responsible for executing proactive and reactive measures around quality & governance including (1) the process reengineering required to set standards around how data is created and, maintained,(2) the transparency around the quality of data based on metrics and thresholds established and (3) the governance to define, manage and sustain the quality.
