About Arjita Nema

I am currently pursuing a Master\'s in Data Science from the University of Washington, Seattle, after completing a dual degree in M.Sc. Mathematics and B.E. Electronics & Communication from BITS Pilani. Throughout my academic journey, I have been deeply intrigued by the various data science domains and their applications in healthcare. Leveraging my academic background, I have explored multifarious domains of Data Science through courses, projects, and internships. My research experience at Emory University, where I developed brain tissue segmentation models and automated object detection for neuropathological images, solidified my passion for applying machine learning to complex problems. In addition to my research, I interned at Flipkart, where I developed automated pipelines and sharpened my skills in automation, API development, and workflow optimization. My zeal for learning, coupled with my extensive coursework, strong technical skills, and valuable research experience, has equipped me with the analytical mindset and technical expertise needed to address real-world challenges. I am excited to continue exploring data science\'s vast potential and applying advanced techniques to solve challenges. I am currently seeking internship opportunities to apply my skills and contribute to organizations at the forefront of data-driven innovations.
