Software engineer with 5+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems, with deep expertise in payments infrastructure.My career has taken me through some of the most demanding corners of financial technology. At Amazon, I built distributed tokenization services processing 10M+ transactions daily across global payment infrastructure. At Marqeta, I work on 3DS authentication systems spanning 200+ card programs in 40+ countries, handling authentication, fraud decisioning, and card network integrations with Visa, Mastercard, and Amex. The reliability engineering behind such massive annual payment volume is not something you can fake your way through, and I\'ve spent years learning exactly why.Outside of big tech, I founded Neutron Labs and delivered full-stack software for clients such as Shared Services Canada, which taught me how to own a product end to end, win work, and operate independently. I also co-own an indoor soccer facility, so I understand what it takes to build and run something in the real world.When I\'m not at a keyboard, I\'m usually on a golf course, basketball court, hockey rink, or in the cockpit. I\'ve held a private pilot license since 2016 and still get up in the air as much as I can. Flying and engineering scratch the same itch for me: both reward sharp decision-making, keeping calm when things get complicated, and knowing your systems inside out.
