ABOUT ARIYANA SHINES

Life is like Tetris: once you fit in, you disappear”. Now, I am not quite sure where I first heard that statement. But, ever since then it has allowed me to comfortably try new things and unapologetically be myself whether I fit in, or not. I enjoy exploring my passions and trying new things. For instance, I started my very own podcast: “She Ain’t So Sweet” where I talk about self-love, self-care, growth, and motivate you to be the best version of yourself that you can be while giving grace to yourself when the latter is occurring. So anyone who needed a ‘pick me up’, would check my podcast out and have instant gratification. But my venturing did not stop there. I would consider myself somewhat a tattoo enthusiast. I spearheaded my tattoo learning by researching the equipment, tattoo styles & techniques, safety, and by getting a certification in understanding Bloodborne Pathogens. Though unconventional, tattooing allowed me to network and practice my marketing skills, talk to new people, design tattoos and bring my clientele’s visions to life while also practicing art and experiencing the beauty of creating memories on beautiful canvases locally. My passion is talking to people, helping them to feel their best in any way possible, and encouraging them and empowering them to be the best they can be. And I am able to do that through podcasting and tattooing! But those are my hobbies. And now, I am looking for a career and opportunities that will allow me to expand my creativity and offer my business expertise while also learning as much as I can. At the moment, I am a junior in the Gies of Business double majoring in Strategic Business Development & Entrepreneurship and Marketing.
