Solely responsible for entire brokerage operations of Kolkata branch (Eastern Zone) controlling in terms of Pricing, vendor payments, new products launch from customers. Solely responsible for timely delivery of import & export high value shipment from Kolkata & import clearances Coordination with origin and worldwide offices Responsible for Customer service Key Account Management for specific corporate clients / Coordination’s Successfully negotiated with various vendors (Shipping Lines/ nes/ IATA etc.) and opfi their support IGM filling, issuance of NOC / DO, interacting with overseas counterpart, CAN preparations, Pre alerts sending, invoicing, Consoling of air import shipments, DSR sending to corporate clients Setup of outsourcing Agents/vendors and use them for our support Developing relationship with all available shipping lines, airlines, brokers and other Vendors locally Handled DDU/DDP shipments mainly to US, South America and CIS countries. Bill of Entry fillings, Shipping bills fillings, IGM filling, Pre alert, Liaison with Shipping Lines, Air Lines, Customs, IATA, CFS, Transporters and other associates. Sound knowledge of forwarding ( sea + air) including air consoling & documentation To manage and oversee imported goods for assigned accounts Charging, arranging the movement of goods and consignments, and flow of paperwork to ensure customs clearances are obtained quickly and deliveries are made in good time To be responsible for managing the full import process for a shipment for specified accounts, from start to finish. To assist in the smooth running of operations for the department. To transpose customs declaration information from documents, and or other data sources, into the customs brokerage system accurately. To understand and utilise all elements of the customs To correspond with customs/other government agencies as and when required in a fimely manner.
