Ari founded BoodUP PD to support and empower educators and implement elementary coding programs nationwide in order to reach ALL students, creating equitable access to 21st-century skills. His goal is to ensure ALL elementary students learn to code. Doing so early assures we reach groups that would normally not be exposed to coding promoting equity. While at BoardDocs, Ari challenged educators at the NSBA Leadership Summitt to include coding instruction as a full-time class in all elementary schools.\"The ABC\'s of code should be introduced to each and every early learner.\" After the challenge, educations approached Ari and asked how. He then created an incubator within BoardDocs to create the initial pilot program based on a program used at Avondale Schools and eventually awarded a grant to Kingsport schools in Tenessee, to provide coding instruction to all elementary students. With the sale of BoardDocs, Ari took that small team and with some of the proceeds of the sale created BootUP PD. Today BootUP provides much more than professional development with a full suite of FREE tools that any school can use to introduce early learners to code.
