About Aris Holman

Imagine taking your very first flight. By yourself. Internationally. At 17 years old. That\'s exactly what I did when I first studied abroad in Barcelona in 2019. It was like stepping into a new reality, one in which I was overconfident in my Spanish skills yet wide-eyed and eager to learn. The irony was that the culture shock didn\'t hit until *after* I\'d returned to the U.S. Ever since then, I\'ve been trying to return to that state. The one that reminds me of how small I am in the world and makes me analyze and appreciate so many new and \"new to me\" things. The child-like state of relearning every aspect of life from a different perspective. That\'s why I\'m studying International Business Marketing (with a minor in Spanish)-because I value travel and utilizing cultural insights to better brands. I\'m interested in the factors that affect consumer behavior, brand perception, and how companies conceptualize cultures as they expand globally. Because of this, I gravitate to opportunities involving global marketing strategy, ethnographic market research (EMR-specifically on-site cross-cultural and organizational analysis), brand partnerships, and client relations. The icing on the cake is utilizing those insights to help brands capture the hearts of their market while remaining true to their purpose. After all, heart and purpose influence how we see the world.
