ABOUT ARIS KATAFYGIOTIS
As a graduating Senior at Yale University, I have pursued my passions for film, media, and computer science through a dual degree in BA and BASc. I have developed skills in creative writing, video editing, research, and problem-solving, as well as fluency in English, Russian, Greek, and Chinese. In addition to my academic studies, I have gained valuable experience in film production, sales engineering, and archives management. I have worked as a filmmaker at Yale University, producing, shooting, directing, and editing various projects, including documentaries, short films, and podcasts. I have also worked as a sales engineer at Accent Technologies, where I have applied my film and media knowledge to create and deliver engaging presentations and demos for potential clients. Furthermore, I have worked as an archives assistant at Yale Film Archive, where I have supported the preservation and cataloging of rare and historical film materials. My goal is to find work that allows me to combine my interests and skills in film, media, and technology, and to contribute to the creation and dissemination of meaningful stories and information. I am eager to learn from and collaborate with professionals in the field, and to explore new opportunities and challenges.
