   Designed and lead a team of 3 members to implement API Gateway through which we can effectively transform and rate limit requests tenant wise and then redirect to appropriate microservices. Prepared HLD, LLD and TDD documents and got it reviewed and approved by internal tech council. Implemented a cron job called - Annual Caps which would entail a staticadSpend capping value for each advertiser, and all of their line items would get paused if that cap is breached. These static values are received by calling another upstream service which would give provide these values based on the current financial year. Did POC and implemented routing of GET calls to read replicas only, since reads are huge in numbers compared to writes, and toavoid hogging of write request. Optimized many existing apis to reduce unnecessary DB calls, optimised sql queries within those apis and fixed many critical production bugs thereby reducing the latencies. Brought down polling apis execution time within 3 seconds by introducing cache and pagination wherever possible, which are very critical apis exposed for serving team.Worked on integrating our Ad Manager with external client systems and lead the project with a team of 3 members. Clarified the requirements with the product for the team to remove any blockers and ambiguity. Earlier those clients were using GAM, but now that is replaced by this 1P Stack. Similarly to AdManager integration project, led a team of two people to work on two new features called Key Value Targeting and A/B testing which would allow us to target customers in a more customised and effective way. Recently, led a team of 3 to implement Item Attribute based Contextual Targeting which would map certain Site Taxonomy nodes to existing Product Taxonomy nodes based on attributes like age, gender and brands. The business goal is to improve the number of impressions and views for these advertisers.
