General Accounting – Scrutiny of various overhead GL and analysing the trend; Month end provisioning and books closure; Reconciliation of GST; Preparing Bank Reconciliation Statement for various Collection A/cs; Publishing MIS for controlling various Budget Heads for the Region; Preparation of documents for Bank Guarantee issuance and for Letter of Credit; Credit Control – Assigning Credit Limits to customers as per Credit Policy after checking all the parameters; Monitoring customer collections, outstanding & overdue balances and follow up for recovery of critical overdue balances; Publishing various kinds of MIS related to Customer Overdue; Monitoring Channel Finance Program and liaison with Banks and Customers for onboarding new customers in Channel Finance.Accounts Receivable – Reconciliation of Customer Accounts and resolving various types of queries; Settlement of Customer claims - collecting balance confirmation & resolving claims mentioned on the same and publishing MIS periodically; Approving new customer code creation after proper verification of all papers as per policy; Visiting customers periodically to know and resolve their commercial- related issues; Monitoring Collection Entries and Accounting of TDS u/s 194Q.Accounts Payable – Approving vendor bills as per the valid Agreement, also suggesting the proper treatment of GST & TDS for each & every bill.Warehouse Management – Monitoring timely dispatch and delivery of materials after invoicing in co-ordination with C&F Agent and Transporters; Maintaining book’s hygiene by monitoring various Stock Locations like Scrap, Short, Mismatch etc. and arranging to clear the same within the stipulated time; Passing Stock Adjustment Entries after checking the facts and the Approvals; Physical Stock Verification periodically
