About Arindam Banerjee
Arindam Banerjee is currently the Paul B. Reinhold Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering & Mechanics at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA. Before joining Lehigh University, Prof. Banerjee worked at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri, Rolla) for 4.5 years as a tenure track Assistant Professor. Prior to that, he also worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory in their Computational Physics Group (CCS-2). Prof. Banerjee\'s interest/expertise lies in fluid dynamics in extreme environments, alternative energy applications (wind and hydro energy), bio-fluid dynamics and bio-heat transfer. His research goal is to understand underlying principles of turbulent flow control for improving efficiency of energy systems. Prof. Banerjee is passionate towards developing the concepts of energy and sustainability and understanding the coupled interactions between energy and water systems.
