   Help maintain a legal and regulatory framework that supports Ascent’s national bank partner lending program. Legal advisor across Ascent’s consumer and private student loan origination, credit card, and student success businesses. Support M&A, IP, corporate governance, and capital markets activities. Lead formation of Delaware statutory trusts, warehouse lines of credit, and SPVs in connection with loan sales. Manage Ascent’s consumer lending licenses across 20 jurisdictions. Supervise relationships with state regulatory bodies and federal consumer protection agencies. Respond to consumer protection complaints and state regulatory audits and examinations. Create data privacy infrastructure for new acquisitions.
