Arin Epstein is a founder and Co-CEO of 4U, the financial services industry’s first, real-time, digital partnership platform for investment companies and wealth management firms. As a certified engineer and technology strategist, he is responsible for product strategy and development for the Company. Arin’s pivot from corporate executive to fintech entrepreneur is no surprise to those who worked closely with him over his 20-year career as a technology strategist, focusing on client development and segment marketing at Smith Barney. A reputed problem solver who specializes in executing complex strategic projects, Arin co-founded ICA Strategies, a consulting firm that assists small to mid-sized investment and wealth management firms with growth strategies. While consulting for finance clients - from a variety of vantage points - Arin came to believe the industry’s model for collaboration and partnering was broken in a very fundamental way - a way that no single partner could effectively remedy without a common platform used by all partners. It was then that the idea of creating an industry-wide, tech-based solution took root.With years of combined experience and insight, Arin, and fellow 4U founders, set off to create an innovative multimedia collaboration, management and measurement platform — an industry-wide technology solution to the age-old industry content problem of: Billions spent. Too much noise. Too little engagement. Though born in South Africa, Arin was raised in California, where his proximity to a technology epicenter helped cultivate his interest in engineering from a young age. He later earned a BA in Physics from Reed College and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University. For the past 23 years, Arin has called Brooklyn, NY, his hometown. When not strategizing the next great product or platform, Arin may be painting portraits or traveling the world with his wife and two daughters.
