Arijit has more than 20 years of diverse International experience in Marine/Shipping and Port-related industries holding Senior Executive positions such as Head Commercial (post-fixture) Operations, General Manager-Overseas Agency Network, Head of Business Development, Regional Sales Manager and Principal Consultant-Marine across Singapore, Dubai, U.S. and Canada. He has gained valuable corporate exposure, leadership qualities and achieved proven track-record of successful enterprise in premier organisations. Notably, he also has extensive seagoing experience of over 12 years, with command experience (Captain) on merchant marine vessels, having sailed on various types of carriers including large Containers, Bulkers (Handy to Cape-size), Multi-purpose-General cargo/Heavy Lift vessels as well as Tankers(VLCC) on worldwide trade. Arijit always takes pleasure in imparting knowledge to the next generation of marine enthusiasts and have continued to contribute to the industry by giving lectures, being a mentor/coach and taking part in academic research/conferences in reputable Maritime Institutes, all along his career.
