Traditional fee-based models of care are going to fall short to meet patients\', families\' or stakeholders\' expectations. It is critical that amongst increasing healthcare expectations and shrinking resources, healthcare organizations pivot smartly so that patients get care that is better, more efficient and results in better outcomes.
