Experienced sound editor and mixer. I like getting involved with the film/project as early as possible, reading the script, and getting to know precisely what is on a director/client’s mind and what more it can be. Without sound, an audio visual presentation feels like a room with white walls. Sound editing adds texture. Sound mixing decides with specificity placement, tone, and colours in what would otherwise be an empty white room. It is imperative to choose how each sound relates to the other and whether or not it is needed to serve the story or create truly cinematic moments. My job is to get a film or any production that has the possibility of using sound, be as thought-provoking and gripping as the action on screen and beyond. Whatever feels right, whatever ‘pops.’
