This position is located within the U.S. Department of Commerce\'s Office of the Secretary which supports the Department\'s top political and career executives to mature the Department\'s integrated, systems-based Performance Management Framework. Responsibilities include-Designing, developing, implementing, and managing performance metric data and workflow processes across databases, knowledge management systems, and data visualization platforms using a hands-on, individual contributor approach-Utilizing off-the-shelf configuration tools and wizards to build, refine, and automate data collection, storage, and visualization processes using technologies such as SQL, Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and CoPilot-Working directly with all Departmental bureaus and offices to improve program results, agility, and customer service-Leveraging data sources including Excel spreadsheets, SharePoint lists, flat files, and APIs to support the development and maintenance of new systems that monitor internal operations and performance- Analyzing data and provide project management and administrative support for performancemanagement presentations, training sessions, review meetings, coordination meetings, and writtenreports- Supporting the design, analysis, and documentation of organizational improvement initiatives, including enhancements to structure, processes, customer experience, forms, administrative systems, and websites- Developing and maintaining systems to ensure fast access to documented decisions and processes- Providing analytical, technical, and project management support for high-level deliverables-Directly supporting the Department’s top executive leadership with ad hoc process improvement projects-Work includes benchmarking, process streamlining analysis, analysis of alternative actions and policies, synthesizing and refining recommendations, and writing summary reports for executive-level decision makers
