Known as a dynamic and outgoing leader, who uses his expertise in security, privacy and risk management. His ability to create security road-maps, conduct Privacy Impact Assessments and advise the business, together with his outstanding communication skills and reputation for delivering results, makes him an outstanding professional. He is a leader in using big data and machine learning analytics to automate many aspects of information security. Ariel is a frequent speaker, and has written for The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, CIO and CSO Magazines and ComputerWorld. His articles and books contributions have been translated into many languages all over the world, and he has presented at many locations around the world.Ariel has contributed to and advised on a wide range of industry standards such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, COBIT v.5, NIST Smart Grid Security Guidelines and Cloud Security standards. He holds the CISSP and CRISC security credentials, the CIPT (previously CIPP/IT) for Privacy professionalism, He is a registered Data Protection Officer in Europe (EU - Germany: Datenschutzbeauftragter (DSB); Poland: Administrator Bezpieczeństwa Informacji (ABI); France: Correspondant Informatique et Libertés (CIL)). He has earned the GIAC, CEH, and CHFI as well as numerous other certifications. Ariel was Nominated to Information Security Executive of The Year, and twice to Computerworld’s Premier 100 Leaders in IT. He holds a US Patent covering elements of cloud computing and IT management, as well as other Patents Pending.With over 25 years of experience delivering comprehensive solutions to the most demanding aspects of information security processes and policies, Mr. Silverstone has overseen hundreds of secure networking systems utilizing Internet, Cloud and Mobility technologies.
