My career unofficially began when I was 17 and started volunteering with the local EMS agency. This volunteer work inspired my first GIS project, mapping response times of ALS and BLS services in the area. From then on I started gaining more experience with disaster response agencies while learning more about geospatial software and analysis. After getting my Masters of Science in Public Health which had a focus on disaster relief I\'ve been lucky enough to work every day to help people using the power of geography and data.
