ABOUT ARIELLE WILLIAMS
Arielle Williams is a tenacious and unyielding individual who earned her BA in Journalism, Media, and Film with a minor in English and Creative Writing, from Baltimore, Maryland by way of Trinidad and Tobago. She is an Alumna of the illustrious Howard University as of May 2021. Williams is a writer, advocate, and creative development specialist who believes in the power of both print and film as a catalyst for change and social commentary. In the Spring of 2019, she had the opportunity to solidify her Korean skills through study abroad in Seoul, South Korea, and is extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to further her education internationally. At her time at Howard University she was an Editor-In-Chief for Her Campus Howard, Managing Editor for PREMIERE Magazine, Newsletter Chair for Revolt, Inc, Parliamentarian of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity Psi Tau Chapter, Entertainment Editor for 101 Magazine, and served as both Historian and Community Service Chair for Howard Association of Black Journalists. Williams has also interned with Mirror Digital during her fellowship with UCLA Anderson School of Management, Multimedia, Dreamworks Animation, Fierce for Black Women, The New York Creative Collective, and Hulu under the Walt Disney Company umbrella. She plans on becoming an industry giant in Film and TV while using her education to spotlight the needs of Black women and advocating for LGBTQ+ initiatives in both print and film.
