Monitor chemically-treated and domestic commercial water systems with emphasis on maximizing water conservation, while minimizing corrosion, deposition, and human health risks. Engage with clients in a wide-range of industries including data centers, plastic manufacturing, university, hospitality, property management, healthcare, government, and pharmaceutical. Responsibilities include:Facilitate water treatment bids and oversee water treatment programs for accounts ranging in 1 to over 120 properties. Travel about 25-40% of time to perform routine and emergency water quality and metallurgy assessments at over 70 sites in the East Coast, from Canada to Florida and as far West as Nevada. Create, maintain, and certify cooling tower and comprehensive water safety plans in accordance to local and federal mandates. Conduct remedial and preventative chemical and temperature procedures on domestic water systems. Operate on-site field tests to assess free chlorine, ORP (oxidation reduction potential), pH, temperature, sulfite, and erythorbate levels. Assess pipe integrity through non-invasive borescope and ultra-sonic testing. Coordinate all travel arrangements and display sound judgement in managing and controlling expenses. Build company awareness and meet sales quotas through cold-calling and attending tradeshows. Provide internal, external, and onboard training for company’s online product. Communicate recommendations to clients within written reports and in-person or virtual meetings.
