   Leadership-Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to the Chief Equity Officer on healthcare equity initiatives-Lead the Healthcare Equity strategic planning process for UW Medicine, including the development of dashboards and reports-Facilitate the development of long-term structures and processes for advancing equity work across UW Medicine, impacting Patients, Families, Employees, Students & Learners, and our overarching Community Engagement.Programs-Developed and launched the largest and most inclusive survey ever conducted at UW Medicine, focused on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Distributed to over participants, with a completion rate of 39%-Supported the creation of EDI Survey Action plans from leadership groups across the system-Lead the Systemwide EDI Committee, a cross system initiative with 200+ EDI Champions across the system to Connect, Share, and Align on various EDI initiatives-Oversee and ensure compliance regarding the implementation of several WA state legislative bills, focused on, EDI Training, Diversity in Clinical Trials, and the collection of demographic data to improve patient outcomes.Operations-Oversee financial and budgetary plans for Office of Healthcare Equity, supporting 32 team members across multiple departments and teams with a multimillion dollar budget (inclusive of multiple sub budgets, grants, state funds, and endowments)-Develop standard protocols for operations management to ensure compliance and promote smooth day-to-day operations-Decreased lead times and increased quality for procurement and hiring procedures-Represent OHCE to various leadership groups across UW Medicine.
