Currently, I am employed at HCL Tech as a Security Consultant department. In this role, I have gained extensive experience and knowledge in various aspects of network configuration and troubleshooting.In reviewing my professional history, I have had the opportunity to work with four different vendors as a Sr Network Security Engineer. These vendors include Versa Networks, Fortigate,Zscaler Inc, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, and Pulse Secure Ivanti. Each experience provided me with valuable insights and a chance to further develop my industry knowledge, key skills, and abilities.As a Network Security Engineer, I specialize in various aspects of network infrastructure, network security, network management, and related fields. My expertise lies in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network systems that protect against cyber threats and ensure the smooth operation of organizational networks. I have a deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, virtual private networks (VPNs), and other security technologies.One of the key areas I specialize in is the Zscaler product suite, specifically ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access), ZPA (Zscaler Private Access), and ZDX (Zscaler Digital Experience). I am proficient in configuring and troubleshooting these products, which are widely used for secure internet access and remote connectivity.In addition to my expertise in Zscaler products, I also possess a good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols and their associated status codes. This knowledge allows me to effectively diagnose and resolve issues related to web communications.Furthermore, I have hands-on experience working with various authentication methods. This includes Active Directory (AD) server integration, as well as local, Duo, Okta, and SAML-based authentication. My familiarity with these authentication mechanisms enables me to implement secure and seamless user access control.To perform my responsibilities effectively, I am well-versed in using a range of network diagnostic tools. These tools include iperf, MTR (My Traceroute), traceroute, Fiddler, dig, and packet capture tools on both Windows and Linux operating systems.
