ABOUT ARIBA DARA

From launching youth leadership initiatives in Pakistan to driving cross-regional equity work in Canada, I’ve spent the past decade building programs that challenge the status quo. At Fora, I lead regional strategy across Western and Northern Canada, supporting gender-marginalized leaders and nonprofit boards through partnerships, training, and governance support. I design scalable solutions and lead with strategy, equity, and deep local insight. Relationship building, impact storytelling, and values alignment are central to how I work. I’ve secured and stewarded partnerships with governments, Indigenous Elders, community leaders, and funders. My leadership is shaped by my lived experience as a racialized woman and equity advocate. I bring an intersectional lens to everything I do and stay committed to decolonizing how I work, make decisions, and strive to creating equitable systems. If you’re working at the intersection of social impact and systems change, I’d love to connect!
