ABOUT ARIANNA BERRIOS
My name is Ari Berrios (she/her) and I am a rising Junior at Davidson College. I grew up in Burlington, North Carolina, and was lucky enough to be awarded a full ride scholarship as a Questbridge Match Scholar. I am majoring in Biology and Environmental Studies on the Social Sciences track and hope to pursue a career that will allow me to work at the intersections of the sciences and social sciences. I am passionate about environmental justice and equality, racial justice, LGBTQ+ rights, and women\'s rights and plan to attend graduate school after my time ends at Davidson. This summer, I am interning at CleanAIRE NC through the Smith Davidson Leadership Initiative and living in Charlotte, NC. I am also very excited about my plans to study abroad in Byron Bay, Australia during my Fall 2023 semester. There, I will be studying sustainability and environmental action, learning about permaculture and sustainable farming initiatives in Australia. During my free time, I like to play tennis, crochet and upcycle old clothing.
