BROADLINC PDA was created by the Spokane Board of County Commissioners Spokane County to coordinate with local governments, tribes, public and private entities, nonprofit organizations, and consumer-owned and investor-owned utilities to develop strategies and plans promoting deployment of broadband infrastructure and greater broadband access, while protecting proprietary information. BROADLINC will seek to encourage, foster, develop, and improve affordable, quality broadband accessibility for underserved, and unserved communities and populations in Spokane County.BROADLINC will oversee acquisition of broadband assets/infrastructure, as lead or co-applicant (where most appropriate), on behalf of member cities and towns of Spokane County, administer broadband assets/infrastructure for shared use and benefit with the participating cities, towns and areas, and insure necessary broadband infrastructure and services delivery enhancements.
