ABOUT ARIANA PROCTOR
I\'m a project management expert, team lead, and problem-solver with 12+ years\' experience designing, planning, delivering, and monitoring complex programs in challenging global operating environments. I\'m known as a strong people leader who helps my team members achieve their full potential. I\'m proud of my cross-cultural relationship management skills, honed through years of building and maintaining relationships with team members, partners, and clients, in both English and French.I have extensive experience managing and directly implementing contracts and grants related to health supply chains, food security and livelihoods, natural resource management, peacebuilding, and emergency response across sub-Saharan Africa. Throughout my career, I have also enjoyed mobilizing resources to support mission-driven work as a proposal manager, design workshop facilitator, and technical proposal writer. I have lived and worked in several countries in Africa (Cameroon, Madagascar, the Central African Republic, and Sudan) and have overseen projects in Burkina Faso, Mali, and the DRC remotely from the U.S. as well. In my current role, I oversee the implementation of the U.S. Government\'s health supply chain work in Benin, Guinea, and Togo.In my spare time, I am proud to serve on the Board of Directors of the Consortium for Humanitarian Service and Education, a U.S-based nonprofit focused on training the next generation of humanitarians and disaster response professionals through immersive, full-scale simulation trainings. I was recently elected as the Vice President of the Board and look forward to helping the organization grow and navigate the evolving landscape.
