ABOUT ARIANA DEVORA

Welcome to my LinkedIn! I am a senior at The University of Texas at Austin, studying Sociology & Government, with a strong interest in community-based healthcare work, advocacy, and program coordination. Through my role as a Certified Application Counselor, I work directly with individuals and families navigating the ACA Marketplace and Medicaid/CHIP enrollment. This experience has given me a firsthand understanding of the barriers people face in accessing care, and has shaped my interest in health education, system navigation, and community engagement. In addition to direct service, I bring experience in research and administrative support, including policy research, data management, and coordination in high-volume environments. This background has strengthened my ability to support programs, manage information accurately, and contribute to initiatives that improve both patient and provider experiences. I also bring a background in health policy and research, which has strengthened my understanding of how healthcare systems are designed and how those systems impact both patients and providers in practice. I am particularly interested in roles that involve community outreach, advocacy, and program or administrative support, where I can work directly with communities while contributing to effective and accessible healthcare systems. Outside of my work, I enjoy scrapbooking, traveling, second-hand shopping, and staying active through weightlifting, running, and long walks around Austin!
