About Ariana Small

Thank you for taking the time to view my profile! My name is Ariana Small, and I am a first-year dual Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master of Bioethics candidate at Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health and the Laney Graduate School. My academic and professional interests center on addressing health disparities, advancing health equity through the lens of social determinants of health, and improving outcomes in maternal and child health. My long-term goal is to become a physician who not only provides clinical care but also drives systemic change to ensure that all populations—especially those historically underserved—can thrive. I am committed to being both a learner and a mentor, serving as an inspiration to students from underrepresented backgrounds who share the same drive to pursue medicine and make a lasting impact in public health.
