A community activist and researcher with decades-long experience in operations and data analytics, compliance reporting, program development, and community capacity building. Expertise includes older adult services, nonprofit leadership, and human rights. Current occupation as Director of Direct Service Programs at New York City Department for the Aging an agency with a mission \" to work eliminate ageism and ensure the dignity and quality-of life of New York City\'s diverse older adults, and for the support of their caregivers, through service, advocacy, and education.\"In addition to leadership in diversity-related experiences, I continue to work with Albanian American organizations in New York to organize people to run for political positions. I serve on the executive board of directors for the United Nations NGO Committee on Ageing, as well as NGO Committee On Human Rights. I\'m an advisory board member for the NYU Community Research Fellowship training program (CRFT) where i work closely to build bridges between academia and communities. For few years I have been a mentor and grant writer for the Rising Scholars of Justice Program at John Jay College, a program designed to ensure a diverse legal community by promoting academic success in law school for individuals historically underrepresented in the legal profession.
