About Aria Choi

I am a dedicated, efficient, and organized engineer with recent project engineering experience at a healthcare company, who is looking for any process or manufacturing engineering or project management opportunities. I am quick to learn any new procedures or processes required and able to keep up in fast paced environments. In my current job I oversee various equipment and server/IT related installation projects at 46 hospitals across the United States. I develop project plans, capture workflows, and estimate project costs to monitor spending. I push towards the goal of standardization of equipment, software and hardware settings for that equipment, as well as for user roles and management in those systems. In university, I was very involved as a student leader in professional organizations such as the Society of Women Engineers as well as the engineering college’s Leadership Council where I exercised skills such as project management, delegation, and teamwork while organizing and sorting out logistics for large-scale events including Bourns Engineering Day and Evening with Industry. These events and organizations reflect my passion for inspiring young women to pursue an interest in STEM as well as giving people the tools they need for success in their field. My skillset ranges from software and programming languages to chemistry and biology laboratory skills which includes: SolidWorks (CSWA certified), MATLAB, COMSOL, Microsoft Office, Chromatography, IR Spectroscopy, cell culture, PCR, bacterial transformation, Python, C++, and Java.
