About Ari Sherr

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Ari grew up around boats, developing a real passion for being on the water. Early on, he competitively sailed dinghies on Port Philip Bay and ocean raced Farr 40s and 50s down the Australian coast.After winning two back-to-back Australian National Titles sailing aboard 12\' yachts, as well as spending three summers in Maine teaching sailing on the Belgrade Lakes, Ari decided to attend the University of Tasmania, studying Nautical Science.With his experience both on the water and in the classroom solidified, Ari spent close to a decade living and working aboard superyachts as a qualified Captain and Chief Officer. He\'s traveled all over, from the Mediterranean and the Caribbean to New Orleans and Alaska. When he finally decided it was time to settle on terra firma, Ari knew he could use his passion, attention to detail, and expertise to help others find the perfect boat as a yacht broker.Ari\'s true mastery of boating on everything from 30\' to 300\'+ yachts undoubtedly serve his clients well.
