Built an Access Provisioning platform for Microsoft Digital Services Data Lake. Developed portal UI using Fluent Components in React, created backend microservices handling access requests, and provisioned fine-grained access to Apache Spark Delta Tables using TAC. This reduced manual effort of managing 200+ access requests/week and promoted 100% auditing of access permissions. Led the development of a framework for proactively alerting system failures that assigned tickets to appropriate owners. This reduced on call support bandwidth by 40% and system downtimes by providing solution recommendations, log traces and auto healing capabilities. Serverless systems like functions were used here to keep down costs and scale out in case of outage. Worked in Enterprise catalog system that was single source of all customer service offerings. It had 12+ downstream dependencies in form of critical business process like billing and contract management. Migrated the UI of this system from Angular JS to Angular 14, worked on Graph QL Rest API consumption support, and catalog search engine. Extensively created computed data products using Spark, performed real time ingestion workloads in Kafka (EventHub) customized frameworks, ETL pipelines on Datafactories/Airflow, ML classification tasks, and provided data insights through Power BI visuals to leadership.
