I am a passionate budding Synthetic Organic Chemist and a current Ph.D. Scholar at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore.​My academic foundation is rooted in my M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Vidyasagar University, West Bengal, which instilled in me a deep commitment to the practical application of chemical principles.My research is dedicated to the design and development of novel, useful synthetic methodologies—the keys to cleaner and more efficient chemical processes. I possess a broad and intense interest in advanced catalysis, with a current focus on:​Photocatalysis & Electrocatalysis: Leveraging sustainable energy sources (light and electricity) to drive challenging chemical transformations.​Asymmetric Organocatalysis: Developing highly selective, metal-free catalysts for producing complex molecules.​Strained Ring Chemistry: Exploring the unique reactivity of high-energy molecules to build novel molecular scaffolds.Currently, my Ph.D. work at IIT Indore is centered on the synergistic potential of photo- and electrocatalysis coupled with strained ring chemistry. My goal is to contribute tangible, methodological advancements to the field that can ultimately simplify complex chemical synthesis and lead to greener production routes for pharmaceuticals and materials.​I am always keen to connect with fellow researchers and industry professionals dedicated to the future of sustainable chemical synthesis.
