New Brunswick Tomorrow is a local non-profit public health organization that has been leading community revitalization efforts in New Brunswick for over 40 years, partnering with local organizations to tackle key issues like education, employment, health, housing, and safety. Guided by a vision of opportunity and improved quality of life for all residents, NBT turns shared goals into action, mobilizing resources and uniting diverse stakeholders to strengthen the New Brunswick community. NBT\'s mission is to move people forward. As a Community Health intern at New Brunswick Tomorrow, I support the operations of NBT\'s city-wide health campaign, Live Well-Vivir Bien New Brunswick- Create informative, engaging content for Live Well\'s media platforms to increase community knowledge of various health topics, including but not limited to lead poisoning, food safety, and breast cancer awareness- Seek out and promote health-related events in the greater New Brunswick area to connect residents to local health and wellness resources- Conduct reviews of Live Well\'s resource directory and update it as needed to ensure that its content is robust and up-to-date- Assist with community engagement activities to enhance health equity in New Brunswick
