ABOUT AURÉLIEN REVAULT DALLONNES

I started my career as a software developper in the Media industry in various startups, creating innovative solutions in media asset management, file based workflow and streaming media (before it became the new paradigm).Evolving as a product designer, product manager and project manager (you do it all in small companies), I started to enter the broadcast industry, designing & deploying solutions for tier-1 broadcasters in France. I enjoyed being in front of customers and realized I was good at presales where both my technical and communications skills where used. Consequently I joined Avid Technology in 2007 as a presales consultant. I quickly evolved to presales manager for EMEA, managing a group of 15 people, across 4 countries. During that time I had the chance to work on multi-million integration opportunites for the biggest broadcasters in that region, mainly in post-production and news. The end of journey at Avid was utterly exciting when I played a key role in winning the London 2012 business for Avid, a first time in Avid\'s history. In 2011, I had a wonderful opportunity to take my managing skill to the next level, joining Technicolor as CTO for the broadcast division in France. Managing a group of 18 highly skilled broadcast engineers. My mission was to hire new talents, develop an ecosystem of freelancers, attrack new customers and develop new businesses. It was an exciting time when I learned a lot in playout, media distribution and production. In 2012, Ericsson acquired Technicolor Broadcast services and I took a new role as Head of Innovation. I developped several innovative prototypes leading to create our first cloud-based commercial offering in SAAS mode for Canal+ and Canal Overseas barker channels.I continue to work on R&D, specially on next-gen streaming technologies applied for broadcast (DASH, Webrtc, HTML5.) and I\'m also a strategic advisor for MAM business and Analytics.
