Developing and implementing resistance welding and laser welding processes. Supporting the build of new stations, prototyping and testing said station- Developing and revising PFMEAs, standard operating procedures, work instructions and process setup sheets for new product implementation and for existing products- Identifying ways to improve assembly and inspection processes, improve productivity, improve OEE, cost reduction, scrap reduction and improve quality- Responsible for assembly machine pre-acceptances, commissioning and final acceptances- Supporting PPAP activities for new product implementation and for existing products (service life)- Rebuilding or refurbishing machine equipment for existing products to support service life production- Training and coaching machine operators and line leads on best practices, setup procedures and operating procedures- Troubleshooting equipment, supporting maintenance with technical notes and Preventative Maintenance activities- Identifying and defining engineering changes to streamline assembly processes. Supporting the design team through engineering changes.
