The Assistant Director is the liaison between the Honors College and academic programs regarding course scheduling (including developing a multi-year plan for course offerings, identifying departmental instructors to supplement Honors College teaching capacity, and working with administrative staff to prepare and submit course schedule materials to Registrar\'s Office), coordinating cocurricular seminars, and coordinating assessment efforts for the Honors College. The Assistant Director works with the Director to develop SMART goals each year, collect necessary data to assess SMART goals, and manage the annual reporting process. The Assistant Director also supervises graduate and undergraduate student employees and volunteers, oversees alumni engagement opportunities, serves on Honors Governing Board Committees, coordinates fall Honors Orientation, end-of-year Honors College celebration, helps organize the annual Honors College retreat, and consults with the director on matters of strategic planning to align with the University\'s strategic goals.
