I am an experienced materials and corrosion engineer with a proven ability in leadership, innovation,problem solving and value engineering. I have successfully led different teams, from regional andspecialized to multidisciplinary and international, located in different parts of the world, within BP and in international organizations (NACE, ISO). I have built a high performing Corrosion Team in the Gulf ofMexico and led it to substantially improve corrosion management in the region. I am result driven,generating saving in tens of millions of dollars and even 3 billion dollars in one project.I can see the big picture, identify strategic directions for improvement, develop a plan and execute it. Ihave generated many ideas to improve safety and business profitability cooperating across the wholeorganization. I have led several R&D projects in different areas of corrosion, erosion and materials thatimprove safety and efficiency of operations in collaboration with different department and regions in BP and various external institutions.I am energized by mentoring, coaching and training people. I have been an instructor of different courses and have trained teams worldwide on corrosion management, erosion management and material selection.I have a passion for learning and an open mind for new ideas, processes and technology.    Led the effort of building an erosion management strategy and implementing it in the upstream segment. Enhance erosion management Practices and Procedures. Completed a thorough revisions of internal standards on erosion management.Led the innovative work on effect of particles size and hardness for sand screen erosion of water injection wells.
