ABOUT ARCHIT UPADHYAY
Currently, I am the Chief Creative Officer at Outer Voice Records, the first South-Asian American record label that was launched alongside Converse in 2021. As a founding member, I have directed our music videos and other pieces of social content that have been featured across Rolling Stones India, MTV, and other outlets. We aim to amplify South Asian faces and voices to increase representation across mainstream media. As a filmmaker with experience in directing, cinematography, editing, and producing, my goal is to eventually direct scripted work in the form of movies and TV. I have directed and shot music videos, short films, and documentary-style stories. I have also worked on reality tv, scripted shows, and documentaries as a coordinator and production and director’s assistants.I am always eager to learn more and meet other creatives in the pursuit of becoming a better storyteller.
